SETTING UP E-MAIL WITH OUTLOOK 97
| STEP I: |

After opening Outlook 97, choose "Services" from the "Tools"
menu. |
| STEP II: |

On the "Services" Tab, if "Internet E-mail" does not
appear as an option, then click the "Add" button and proceed to
Step III. If, however, "Internet E-mail" DOES appear as an
option, then skip this step and proceed to Step IV. |
| STEP III: |

Select "Internet E-mail" and click "OK" then proceed to
Step V |
| STEP IV: |
|

Select "Internet E-mail" from the list of options, then click on
the "Properties" button. |
| STEP V: |

In the "General" tab, type the name that you'd like to give the
account (this can be anything, as it will only be referenced while using
Outlook). Then, in the "User Information" section, type your "Name",
the name of your "Organization", your "E-mail Address",
and your "Reply Address". When you are finished click "Apply"
and either move on to the next step, or hit "OK" if you are done. |
| STEP VI: |

On the "Servers" tab, enter the following information into the "Sever Information" section:
Default Settings:
|
Incoming mail server (POP3):
mail.appsmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP):
Contact your Internet Service Provider
If Apps Communications is your ISP, use "mail.appsmail.com" as your SMTP Server

New Settings:
*ONLY use the below information if you know that you are using our new email server
|
Incoming mail server (POP3):
mail2.appsmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP):
Contact your Internet Service Provider
If Apps Communications is your ISP, use "mail2.appsmail.com" as your SMTP Server
|
In the "Login Information" section, type your e-mail address into the "Account
Name" field, and your e-mail password into the "Password"
field. When you are finished click "Apply" and either move on to
the next step, or hit "OK" if you are done. |
| STEP VII: |
|

On the "Connection" tab, choose what type of internet connection you use
to access your e-mail. When you're done, click "Apply" and then "OK". |
| STEP VIII: |

At this point a pop-up message will appear stating that you need to exit
and restart Outlook. Click "OK" to finish the configuration, then
close the window and restart Outlook to activate the new e-mail account. |
